Big in Japan

Those Japanese make the BEST beauty and makeup products. Too bad not all the good brands are available here. Well, except a few in that tiny Jap store in Robinson's Galleria where I get my under-the-radar Japanese pressed powder and creams.

I stumbled into this blog that writes about Japanese makeup brands and raved about a beauty breakthrough: a totally transparent powder!

SUQQU is said to be a pricey Jap brand, and you can see through the powder and read the brand name embedded in the bottom of the compact.

On another note, don't you think ang bading ng iba nilang makeup brand names? Example: Majolica Majorca, a Shiseido brand (hehehe). Then there's Lavshuca, a Kanebo brand.

The compacts look so luxurious and decadent! In fairnes, when it comes to packaging and product design, the Jap are really the best.
