I overheard this while on line at the cash register at Duane Reade:

Black girl on mobile: (whispering) "You know that's not the same. There is a difference between 'transgender" and 'transexual.' "

Pause.

"Yes they are two different things."

And in the A train going to Times Square, I saw yet again, a weird guy talking to himself. I avoided staring but managed to see him waving a dirty finger to who knows who.
