Ankle Boots

I bought ankle-type heeled lace ups a week ago (one lace-up, one Mary Jane style but in velvet). Just wanted a respite from open-toe heels, which require rigid and regular pedicures. My toes needed a rest! I surf here and there and whaddya know, I check my latest addiction, WhoWhatWearDaily , and lookie here!

Man-style lace ups with heels were everywhere on the runways, Teen Vogue, Bazaar and Style.com. With these, you have to ear something girly on top, like a dress, skirt or long hair. Then again, these people don't have cankles! Kaka.

Am wearing my velvet ones today with harem-style pants, long sleeved green tee and a gray wool vest. :P
