Oh My G.O.D.

Goods of Desire (G.O.D.), that is. It has been described as Chinoiserie-meets-Ikea.

The name GOD is a play on the literal translation of the Cantonese words "to live better" and was founded by Douglas Young in 1996. His aim: promote "Hong Kong culture - which is a fusion of modern Asia and western lifestyle".

Aside from Ikea, am excited to spend a few hours browsing here for some quirky Orientalia finds. HK here I come!
