Why Adversity is a Learning Tool

From my favorite, Malcolm Gladwell. Check out his article, "The Uses of Adversity."

Gladwell wrote "The Tipping Point" and "Blink." I am in the middle of reading his new book "The Outlier" which has been described as "a combination of Biography Channel, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and Dale Carnegie.

Wikipedia says that Gladwell "examines society’s alpha dogs, from athletes to entrepreneurs, looking not at what they’ve done, but where they came from. His investigation helped him uncover why so many Asians ace math and why the Beatles ruled rock."
